Metal carport details
Overview
20′ wide × 20′ long A-Frame Vertical carport built with 14-gauge steel framing. Vertical roof panels run peak-to-eave so water, snow, and debris shed cleanly — a strong choice for Pacific Northwest weather.
This is an open carport: no side or end walls, so you can pull vehicles, boats, RVs, or equipment straight through. Serious Sheds will help match width, length, and leg height to what you store and your site.
List price $2,270 is the West Coast Metal Buildings OR/WA sheet base for this size (Vertical A-Frame, 14 ga, Rev. 09/2026). Taller legs, certification, gables, and enclosure options change the total — we confirm before you order.

Sizing guide
20′ width is measured outside-to-outside on the base rails. 20′ length is the base-rail length (A-Frame Vertical roofs are flush with the rails).
Leave clearance beyond the building for install workspace (about 2′ around). Call out overhead lines, slope, and concrete vs. gravel before we schedule.
Site prep & install
- Site must be squared and leveled before install
- Mark underground utilities where anchoring will occur
- Minimum ~2′ clear workspace around the structure
- Keep 10′+ from overhead power lines (or have lines de-energized)
- Anchoring method depends on concrete, asphalt, or ground
